Have you ever found yourself wondering where a friend of yours is at any given time during the day? Yeah, me neither. So I was surprised when an app called "Find my Friends" came out.
This new Apple app, had attention brought to it, when a man found out that his wife had lied about where she had been, and was really cheating on him. This had all happened when the app had just been released. Find my Friends lets you keep tabs on your friends and familys' whereabouts. If you are interested in using this app, be careful and remember there may be people watching your whereabouts.
However, the husband who used this App and caught his wife enabled it without her knowing. The people who follow your whereabouts have to request permission, before they can. This app may seem high-tech and confusing, mainly because it is. It is said to be hard to set up and navigate. It isn't exactly a social networking app, and is more of a utility than anything else.
One advantage I can see to this app is with families. For example, if a mother and father ask their teenager to turn the app on so they can know they are safe and being smart. Although this is an invasion of privacy, it is sure to keep teens from getting in trouble.
So as you can see, this app can be used for many different purposes. The question is, will this new app be a success?

It astounds me how crazy people are... this app was probably a good idea in someone's mind but it went strangely askew... I loved reading this :)

That is so weird what the world is coming to! I mean following where people are now! Whats next! I think its absurd that trust levels would have to be this low in order to see the necessity for such an app. Its great to find out more of whats going on out in the world!

Haha that makes me laugh.. Personally I wouldn't want people to be able to track me! It's not like I go anywhere that I wouldn't want people to know, but I'd just feel weird.
